Design-Build procedure involves the integration of the architectural team with the construction team to provide a single team under contract with a client. There are various ways the teams can be structured. Common structures are either the architect leads the contractor or the contractor leads the architect, contractually. Another form is having a design-build manager or program manager to lead both, the architect and the contractor.
